(omni)science

the all science blog

About

I believe that one of our key goals in life is to amass knowledge, to reach that goal of omniscience or infinite knowledge, to find out just who we are and why we are here.  Faith is not for me; it’s just not satisfactory.  Science is.  I need an explanation, a reason, and if needed, a proof.  Science provides that.  So, what I do is search for answers, and when I find them, I spread them.  That is what makes me who I am: a researcher and a teacher.  I research at University of California and teach there and at a high school.

All of what I have said above encompasses my reasons for starting this blog.  I have thousands of questions; questions that I have and questions that students ask and questions that just appear out of thin air.  A blog is a perfect way to meet people who can help me answer those and make them available to everybody.  Bit by bit, I hope we can put some pieces together to make some sense of this world, its intricate functionings, its precise mechanisms, and its randomness.  Only some, by the time this life ends.  I hope you can help and enjoy your time reading.  Stay inquisitive my friends.
